Highland HCB Portable Precision Balances are British balance manufacturer Adam Equipment's bestselling portable balance range. These balances are superbly portable, and extremely robust - thanks to the patented Shockprotect® technology they boast! This means the balance is protected from overloading and 'shock' loading, and this, along with sturdy ABS plastic construction, helps the balance stay in working order even under constant, demanding use.

Highland precision balances also feature HandiCal® internal calibration with a built-in mass, meaning you don't need external weights for calibration checks - the balance will calibrate itself (with a little help from you).

USB and RS-232 connections provide speedy communication with computers and printers - we recommend using Adam Equipment's ATP2 printer, and AdamDU data collection software.

All models except the HCB 6001, 6kg model feature a removable draft shield, that ensures accurate measurements by eliminating disturbances from air currents or wind.

All Highland models are covered by Adam Equipment's 3-year manufacturer's warrranty.
